Ruchè is a rare red grape grown almost only around Castagnole Monferrato, a small village in Piedmont. Fewer than 200 hectares exist in the world. What makes it special is the aroma: few red wines smell so much of flowers.
Colour, aroma and taste
- Colour: ruby red with violet reflections, turning garnet with age
- Aroma: rose, violet and small red fruits, with delicate spice
- Taste: dry and enveloping, with soft tannins, a spicy note and a long finish
