Prosecco from Treviso: Brut and Extra Dry

Fabula Prosecco DOC Treviso

Warning! This is an alcoholic beverage. Alcohol may harm your health.

Prosecco is the sparkling wine of Veneto and Friuli, in north-east Italy, made from the Glera grape. The bubbles come from a second fermentation in large pressure tanks (Charmat or Martinotti method), which keeps the fresh fruit and flowers of the grape.

Brut or Extra Dry?

The names are confusing: Brut is the driest, while Extra Dry is slightly softer, with a touch more residual sugar.
