Dolcetto means "little sweet one", but the wine is dry: the name refers to the sweet taste of the ripe grapes. Its home is Dogliani, in the southern Langhe, the only area where Dolcetto has the top DOCG status. "Superiore" means a longer ageing and a higher minimum alcohol.
